10 on 10 in February.

For the past year I have been participating in a special “10 pictures on the 10th day of the month” blog post with other bloggers. Sure I don’t always get to take 10 pictures throughout the day, but that’s ok. I capture what I can. I just think it’s fun to share my life with you through pictures.

Here is a sneak peek of our 10th day in February!

First things first, coffee and breakfast. This morning, the princess asked for scrambled eggs. After breakfast I packed Sarah’s lunch in a disposable bag since she would be on a field trip during lunch. Before putting her lunch in her backpack I wrote a short message on the bag.Sarah putting on her ballet shoes before ballet class started.I dropped Sarah off at her field trip and came back home for lunch. I ate one of my favorite pot luck dishes, Bruschetta Cous Cous. Recipe can be found here.

I picked her up from school and raced home for nap. Tuesday’s are our busy days.

While she napped I blogged, read email, checked FB and figured out her Valentine’s Card this year. After nap we drove to Sarah’s soccer practice.Then we headed to our neighbor’s house for a short playdate.

Finally at home, I prepped dinner while hubby and Sarah played together.

For dinner, I made a simple taco bar. One of our favorite dinners!Hubby took Sarah to play outside while I did some things around the house.

After baths Sarah asked if I would read to her before bed (something hubby normally does).

Last time I read to her she didn’t like that baby was kicking her back so this time I swung her legs over mine and read to her like this.With Sarah asleep and emails checked, hubby and I watched Fresh Off The Boat (a must see if you want to laugh) while I drank a cup of tea (man, do I miss my glass of wine!!)Hope you had a great 10th!
