Boursin

After having so much fun at our Annual Scarf Exchange we decided to get together for a Holiday Gift Exchange.

This time we decided to make it a PJ party! Everyone brought a snack to share.

I brought the best party cheese, Boursin.IMG_0874The world’s first variety of Boursin® was created in 1957 in Normandy by Francois Boursin.  Inspired by a long-standing traditional dish, fromage frais (fresh cheese), in which guests mixed their own seasoned cheese from a bowl of fine herbs, the expert cheese maker introduced Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs.  His recipe quickly became the first flavored fresh cheese to be sold throughout France.  Today, discerning fans in over 35 countries across five continents enjoy the taste of Boursin® Cheese.

I choose two flavors for the night. IMG_0878Both were really yummy! However I preferred the Monterrey Jack & Spicy Pepper. It was creamy, spicy and had perfect combination of herbs.

Thanks Boursin for providing yummy snacks for our fun night in! IMG_0897 - favBoursin cheese is not only to be used as a spread with crackers but it’s also great in recipes. Check out the recipe for these Monterrey Jack & Spicy Pepper Cheese Straws hereBoursin Cheese Straws
