I really believe in giving back and supporting your community.
After hubby and I moved to Southern California we participated in our community walk, The Friendship Walk.
The Friendship Circle is a non-profit organization that addresses the challenges facing the families of children with special needs.
The program begins with the pairing of local teenagers with children for weekly “Friends at Home” visits. Through a full range of activities and events, such as Sunday Circle, Siblings Event, Summer Camp, Holiday Programs and more the Friendship Circle creates its own special environment of friendship and love.
The Friendship Walk is their annual event to raise money for all the great programs they put together.
The following year we weren’t able to attended as I was sitting at the hospital waiting to deliver Baby K.
Being a part of such a large mommy group I decided to start a team this year. Thanks to my mama friends, our group was able to raise $123!!!
It was a busy weekend for most of our friends, but luckily my friend Cheryl was able to join me on the walk.
Thanks mama! I had a really nice morning! After the walk we rode the kids train, ate lunch and played in the park.
Donations are still being accepted, please visit our team page.
Thank you for all of the support!
