Our family loves going to Las Vegas! It’s 4-5 hours away, there’s lot’s to do and see!

Las Vegas 2015 (moms group trip)
Last July we decided to take a solo trip to Vegas! It was our first trip away from the kids!
I dropped the kids off at my parents and flew to meet my beloved.
Since it was the first time people were traveling after covid the hotel left us some goodies. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay this time.
On the first night out we went out for Mexican at Casa Don Juan (off the strip).
We had a wonderful authentic Mexican meal.
The next day we got ready for the pool and took breakfast to go from Citizens. I had the best breakfast burrito!
We lounged at the pool most of the day! Loved having a kid free day with my guy.
For dinner we went to Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano (inside the Venetian Hotel).
We started off with delicious salads!
Our pasta dishes were absolutely amazing! Fresh homemade pasta and hearty sauce that we couldn’t get enough of. Yum!!
For dessert we had the best cannoli we’ve ever tasted!!
We walked around the Venetian a bit before heading back to our hotel.
The next morning we went to the Paris hotel to eat at Mon Ami Gabi.
Vegas did a good job of keeping everyone protected. I liked the nod to MC.

The next day we checked out and headed to brunch at Egg Works (off the strip). Once again, sweet for him and savory for me.
We really enjoyed our short, but sweet solo trip that we decided to make it an annual trip!
