Las Vegas (2021) – Mama Chit Chat

Last summer, hubby and I went on our first solo trip to Vegas. We had such a great time that we decided to book another trip then, for the following year. Thanks to my friend, Maya, we went to Vegas for 5 glorious days.

Our first stop was the Pinball Museum. Hubby doesn’t play video games, but he does like classic games like a pinball machine. We even own a pinball machine back home!

We checked into our hotel, got ready and headed to dinner at La Cave (inside the Encore hotel).

After dinner we headed to Mystere the Cirque du Soleil (inside Treasure Island Hotel).

What a stunning show!

The next morning we went to breakfast at Broken Yolk Cafe (off the strip).

Per usual, sweet for hubby and savory for me.

It was 115 degrees and we were for some pool time.

For dinner we went to Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano (inside the Venetian Hotel).

Everything was delicious as usual! However I wasn’t really excited about their dessert menu this time so we checked out another place for dessert.

We got a CrazyShake at Black Tap (in the Venetian hotel). So so good!

We came back to our room at the MGM Grand Hotel to a beautiful rain storm. I got a little homesick for my hometown, Florida.

The next day we started off at the pool. I love their breakfast burritos!

Since we had a full day at the hotel, so we indulged in one of those big big drinks. I think it was 52 oz or something crazy like that!

Our evening activity was Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club. We got to see Rondell Sheridan, Dwight Slade and Derek Richards perform.

Since it was a late night we headed to Secret Pizza (hidden on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan).

Hubby spotted a Britney Spears (love her!) machine and I knew I had to try it!

So excited about my big win!

The next morning we headed back to the pool for another breakfast burrito (yes, again!) and a rum runner Dole Whip.

For dinner we headed to Golden Steer (off the strip).

For dinner we got table side Caesar salad steak and a couple sides.

Back in the hotel, watching Shark Week, and eating chocolate cake in bed after a full day in Vegas. Perfect last night to our perfect trip.

We slept in, checked out and made our way out of Vegas. We like staying at the MGM Grand Hotel on their Stay Well floor. It’s a non smoking floor, has extra filters and has a purifier in each room.

Thanks for the memories Vegas! We had so much fun!!
