Every year we try and take the kiddos to see the snow. With snow capped mountains only a couple of hours away, its fun to go out and play with the snow for the day. This year we checked out the snow tubing at Mt Baldy.
All suited up and ready to go!
In the past we’ve taken our sled and just played in the snow. This time we bought passes ahead of time. Yes I knew there would be a skit lift, but I didn’t expect to sit in a wobbly wooden chair for 15 minutes above lot’s and lot’s of mountains. To say I was scared would be an understatement.
Sitting with my brave girl! So glad she didn’t inherit my fear of heights.
The boys were behind us. Between this height and watching hubby lift the bar gave me chills.

“Mommy, you should take a picture of me with my first snowball!”
Tip: Get here at least an hour before your time slot. This way you can park, ride the lifts, get in line and visit the the bathrooms.
It was our turn to go down the slopes. One kid was super excited and the other one was not interested one bit. Can you guess which one was the fan?
After a few tears, I took J to get a snack.
He spent the rest of our time on the slopes eating his snacks by the benches.
After a few snacks I convinced Jacob to try one more time. This time he was a happy camper!

Such a fun day snow tubing with the family!
We grabbed a late lunch, played with the snow some more and then headed back on the lifts.
