Instead of gifts for my 40th birthday I opted for an adventure instead. So I met my sisters and mom for an unforgettable adventure in Nashville!
They all landed before me so I met them for lunch at Pinewood Social. Cheers to fun a girls weekend!
After lunch we headed to our hotel. We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. We loved the lobby and morning coffee cart!
I walked into the sweetest surprise!
Thank you girls for the balloons, matching pjs, Been There Series Starbucks mug and the cutest keychain. Love you!
After we all got organized we headed out to explore Nashville!
We stopped at Kristin Cavallari’s store, Uncommon James.
Osh and I bought the cutest jewelry!
We stayed in downtown and went shopping some more. Funny story: my mom’s suitcase never made it to Nashville so we went shopping for essentials.
We headed back to our hotel and got ready for dinner at Carne Mare.
This steakhouse did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the ambience was fun and the company was even better!
Travel days are always the longest so after dinner we headed back to our hotel. So glad we did because we were awakened at 3 am due to all our phones alerting us that there’s a tornado watch a few miles away from our hotel!!!!!
A few short minutes later the hotel sounded an alarm and the loud speaker told us to go to the basement due to the tornado!!
These Florida and California girls were super confused and a little bit scared!!!
An hour later the tornado had moved from downtown area and we were allowed back to our rooms. Whoa, what a night!!
Day 2
The next morning we woke up and headed to breakfast at Frothy Monkey.
We explored, shopped and checked out some murals!
We love how accessible downtown Nashville was!
It was time for another adventure. This time we took an Uber to Nashville’s Wineries and checked out Arrington Vineyard!
We had reservations for the wine and food paring. Which I highly recommend!
Such a fun experience with my sisters and mom!
The whole winery even sang me happy birthday!
After our wine and food pairing we walked around the beautiful winery and found this bench swing.
So fun!
We headed back to our hotel, changed and got ready for our night out!
My mom opted out of this adventure. So my sisters and I hopped on one of the golf carts outside of the hotel.
We headed out to Hattie B’s Hot Chicken for a late night snack.
We arrived downtown and headed inside to Luke Bryan’s Honkey Tonk!
The rooftop views were gorgeous!
Day 3
We packed up our things, took some silly pictures and went on an adventure.
We started the day at Adele’s for brunch. This buffet style restaurant was so delicious!
We checked out Reese Witherspoon’s store Draper James, another mural and the Grand Ole Opry!
For dinner I met up with 2 friends from back home. One from Florida and one from California. We went to Dolly Parton’s rooftop bar, White Limozeen.
This pink bar was so much fun! We got festive drinks and fun bites.
So fun meeting up with friends who have moved!
Thankful to my mom and sisters for an epic birthday adventure!
