I’m always up for an adventure so when my friend, Maya wanted to go camping we grabbed our stuff and headed to Newport Dunes Resort for a beach camping trip.
We decided to tent camp for this adventure!
After we made our beds we headed to the water. For this trip we packed our paddle boards and canoes but Newport Dunes also had it available to rent.
We played in the sand and enjoyed the water for the afternoon.
We headed back to camp, ate dinner and the kids rode around on their scooters. Check out the sunset!
Tip: Bring some kind of non electric toys for the kids to use. Newport Dunes has a great lot for bikes and scooters.
So thankful for friends who are up for an adventure!
After showers we started a fire. Tip: Bring your own or rent a fire pit and wood for the night.
Day 2
We woke up, ate breakfast and got ready for day.
We went back out with our paddle boards and canoe.
Even Maya and I got in on the action.
I love being out on the water!
Later in the day was our turn to check out the inflatable park! It was so fun!
We had such a lovely day!
Night 2 we decided to go off property for dinner. We ate at True Food & Kitchen. So Good!
For dessert we headed back to camp for another fire and s’mores.
We woke up the next day, packed up and headed home!
What a fun adventure!
