Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort

Last year we tent camped at Newport Dunes Resort (see the post here). We had so much fun we had to come back! This time we stayed in the Beachfront Cottage!

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4! It came with a queen size bed, sofa bed, sleeping loft, kitchen and dining area, TV, bathroom with shower, towels and toiletries, picnic table and bistro set.

After we unpacked we drove off the resort for dinner at Guac Amigos.

Love my crew!

Day 2

We woke up and made pancakes. I loved having a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and silverware (for 6).

For breakfast we made pancakes using Betty Crockers Shake n Pour. This is such an easy hack when traveling. Just add water and pour. No egg, bowls or mixing spoons needed.

The kids played while I enjoyed my cup of coffee on our patio.

After breakfast we went to the pool.

Renovated and expanded, the resort pool complex features four distinct pools, including a large u-shaped hot tub, and a shallow wading pool. You can also reserve one of the spacious poolside cabanas with plush furnishings.

After some pool time we went inside the Clubhouse for crafts and games. So fun!

For lunch we stayed on property and checked out Moe B’s Munchies. This cafe has burgers, sandwiches, pizza and a full bar! We grabbed pizza, burgers and fries. Yum!

After lunch it was time to do more expelling at Newport Dunes. This time we checked out Water sports!

They have kayaks, stand up boards, and electric Duffy boats to rent for the hour. Open Thursday through Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.

After kayaking we checked out the Market Place on the property.

The Market Place is a mini-market filled with food, beverages, groceries, RV supplies, souvenirs and much more. Rent beach cruisers and golf carts here. Open Sun – Thur 8 am to 7 pm and 8 am to 8 pm Fri + Sat.

We checked the Activities calendar and walked over to family bingo.

Our little dude even won a round!

After a full day in the sun we went back to our cottage to shower and relax before dinner.

We scootered, played horseshoe and walked around. Such a fun resort!

Thank you Newport Dunes for the memories!
