Recap of 2013 – Mama Chit Chat

For the past few years we have included a recap letter with our holiday card. This year I decided to blog about it.

Let’s look at some highlights!

{January}

We received Sarah’s 1st school picture! It’s one of my favorite pictures :)

So that Creative Pay-It-Forward was a total scam :(

{February}

My sister, Oshrat came for a short, but fun visit.

We got Sarah tested for allergies. She’s allergic to grass, dust, trees and pollen. Anybody know where I can get a bubble :(

{March}

We celebrated Sarah’s 2nd birthday, Minnie Mouse style!

I started Meal Planning and it has done wonders for me and my family! No more multiple shopping trips per week or questioning what’s for dinner! Love it!

{April}

Sarah and I LOVE smoothies, so I started adding spinach to make them a bit more healthy. We are obsessed! Recipe can be found here.

I reviewed a bunch of cool stuff this month! Thanks to my new sponsors Moms Meet and She Speaks.

{May}

After being on the PJ Library committee for a few months, we launched and I hosted a Stories and Snacks event.

My friends Nikki, Julie and I took our kids to see Sesame Street Live! Sarah absolutely LOVED it!

We started taking mommy and me style swim lessons. Thanks to Marjean’s style of swimming, Sarah was able to swim throughout the summer!

My friend, Cheryl and I started a weekly Mommy Night In. Each week we take turns watching the Housewives franchise. Sometimes we have visitors join us, but normally it’s just us tow. It’s been a lot of fun! We still meet weekly.

{June}

Sarah finished her first year of “school“.

I started a Camp Mommy so Sarah and I could hang out with our friends through out the summer.

I took Sarah to see her first movie in the movie theaters. We saw Despicable Me.

My home team, the Miami Heat, won the NBA Finals (again)!!

{July}

Sarah went for her first dentist visit.

I started attending Williams Sonoma’s Technique Classes on Sunday morning.

{August}

I celebrated my blog’s first anniversary!

I was invited for a girls trip to Redondo beach. It was such a nice and relaxing couple of days!

{September}

As a Pinterest lover, I started documenting some of my favorite Pinterest recipes on my blog. I hoped to continue this every few months, but haven’t been able to. Hope to post a new favorites Pinterest recipes in the coming week.

Sarah started a new year of school. This time she was enrolled in the Toddler Two program with her friends Charlie, Thomas, Patrick, and Ayden from the mommy group and Peyton from class last year.

Sarah started attending another class called Tot Shabbat.

{October}

I started a new business venture with Tupperware. Please contact me if you’d like to host a party and get free Tupperware!

Sarah and I went on our annual trip to Florida!

I was super organized this year. Not only did we get our family holiday pictures taken in October, but I also sent them out by mid November due to Chanukah being SUPER early!
