Growing up I always had a core group of friends. In fact I still see some of my best friends when I go back home to visit.Moving out to So Cal was hard. I didn’t have any friends, my family lived far away and I just had a baby. Thanks to the internet and some loving people, Sarah and I met a group of moms formerly called, First Time Moms. Now that most of us have a second kid we have renamed the group to Fun Toddler Moms.
I met these group of girls when Sarah was only 6 months old.
We’ve gone vacations together, spent the holidays together and even visited each other at the hospital when a new baby was born. I’ve grown up with these moms. I’ve become a better mom because of these moms.
This is my tribe.
With family and in laws living far away, I’ve had to lean on my tribe quite a bit. Thank you girls for being there for me. Your friendships mean the world to me! I love all the memories we’ve made together, the laughs and even the tears.
I am so thankful to have met you almost 5 years together!

Thanks to Sarah’s preschool, I am fortunate to have met another group of friends. Even though I’ve only know them for two years, I can tell these girls are going to be in our lives for many more years. After having contractions in the middle of the night, it was a Julie, a preschool mom I called. Since then they have been amazing to me and my family. Between picking up and dropping Sarah off, waiting after school with Sarah while I was running late and even giving me a ton of their baby stuff.
Thank you girls for you all your help, but most of all thank you for your friendship. Glad our girls met so we could become friends.
I love my tribes! I wouldn’t be the mom I am today without them.
