Every year the Friday before Halloween, we celebrate with a feast at home. Or as we like to call it, Spooky Shabbat! Every year it gets better and spookier. I can’t wait to share what we did this year! Until then I thought it was good time to have everything in one place. That way I can add on to the list, plus it will be a great place to look back at all the recipes.

I like to mix our dishes at home with colorful paper patterns.

I even make a kid friendly table for all the kiddos.

Our Spooky Shabbat Menu consists of:
Heartbeat Salad

I add these hearts to spinach and silvered almonds tossed in a mustard vinaigrette.
Swamp Dip

Olive dip is made with a can of black olives and 1 tbsp of mayo blended until smooth.
Eye Crusties

Jack-O-Lantern Stuffed Peppers

Sauteed ground beef with mushrooms and onions.
Tombstone Calzones

Puff pastry with shredded cheese and sauce for 15-20 minutes on 425.

Zombie Meatloaf

This is always a crowd pleaser! The shear visual of a meat shaped hand is interesting to look at and tasty too. Recipe can be found here.
Bloody Pilaf
Witches Fingers
Sweet Carrot Thumbs
Roasted Vampire Daggers
Graveyard Pudding Cups

Banana Ghosts

Guacamole Witch

This was a fun dish to bring to a Halloween potluck.

Jack-O-Lantern Veggie Tray

Baked Brie with cranberry and nuts

Another great potluck dish is this baked Brie with cranberry and nuts.
Jack-O-Lantern 5 Layer Taco Dip
