What’s Up Wednesday {October 2015}

wednesdaywednesdayI’m linking up with Mel for some random fun.

What we’re eating this week…

A lot of Halloween themed food. Between the parties, pot lucks and events we’ve attended/attending it’s all about the spooky food. On Friday I am hosting my annual Spooky Shabbat. This is last year’s menu. menuWhat I’m reminiscing about…

Being pregnant. I feel the most beautiful when I’m pregnant. Kruschen Maternity-16What I’m loving…

All the pumpkin flavored items at Trader Joe’s. Yumm, I love Pumpkin season.grant_traderjoes_pumpkin_64011What we’ve been up to…

Sarah started playing soccer on Sunday mornings. Unfortunately it’s been too hot (Sarah really doesn’t like the heat) plus it’s Jacob’s nap time. The combo is not a great one. Hoping for cooler weather and opportunity to go to her games. IMG_0761Sarah is #4.

What I’m dreading…

When Jacob goes to 3 naps. Right now he naps around 5 which gives me time to cook and sometimes eat.

What I’m working on…

Sleep training Jacob. He’s 6 and half months old and his pediatrician says he weighs enough not to eat at night. However he doesn’t eat enough through out the day so I’m a sucker and feed him at night too.

What I’m excited about…

Sleeping through the night!! Yup the struggle is real!

What I’m watching/reading…

Amazing Race! Love this show!indexWhat I’m listening to…

Hello by Adele. She is simply AMAZING!!!

What I’m wearing…

Our family is dressing up as characters from the Minions movie. We already did this theme for Purim in 2014, but now that Sarah is older she will really be able to remember the costume this year. Stay tuned for our 2015 version. IMG_6839What I’m doing this weekend…

Friday is Spooky Shabbat, Saturday night is Halloween with our friends, Sunday is soccer and a Fall Festival in our town. It’s going to be a busy weekend!

What I’m looking forward to next month…

Cooler weather, our anniversary, the annual scarf exchange and Thanksgiving. IMG_3323What else is new…

I got a job!!!!! I’m super excited yet nervous. I start next week. I am the Community Connector of the Conejo Valley! Eeeks! So excited.

Question of the month is: What’s your favorite Thanksgiving recipe?

Last year we went out for dinner and it was a major flop. This year I’m hoping someone hosts us. #keepingitreal
